"Belgium’s economic situation needs to be fixed", says Pierre Lagrange (Man Group) in De Tijd
Cantilis mobilised business newspaper De Tijd for an interview with the experienced fund manager Pierre Lagrange. He is one of the founders of GLG, a hedge fund that was acquired in 2010 by competitor Man Group. The interview was also published in several other newspapers, namely La Libre Belgique, L’Echo and Le Soir.
Pierre Lagrange shares his opinions on a.o. the value of fundamental analysis, the new legislation concerning hedge funds and the financial situation of several countries, more particularly of Belgium: "Of course I’m worried about Belgium, as is everyone else. My advice for the Belgian politicians? (laughs) I’m too modest to think that I’m capable of advising them. But a solution has to be found. That much is clear." (De Tijd, 30/04/2011)
